FLOOR SANDING

Needless to say, this is one of the most common services that we provide to our customers (if it wasn’t, we’d probably be called something else!) Our skilled technicians deploy the latest cutting-edge sanding equipment in order to shave away the grime, dirt and scratches and expose the beauty of the raw material beneath.

WOOD FLOOR RESTORATION

One of the reasons that so many customers use our services again and again is the versatility of our wood floor restorations. Many of the floors that we see have been covered up for years, or been seriously neglected. We pride ourselves on using our various techniques to help restore that as-new shine to almost any floor, no matter the state it might be in when we arrive.

WOOD FLOOR REPAIR

Whilst our sanding techniques are second to none in terms of restoring wooden floors, there are some things that it won’t fix directly. That’s why our skilled technicians also conduct a number of different repairs throughout the year. The damage can vary: for some customers it might be a particularly deep scratch, for others it’s a series of loose boards. Whatever the repair is, we can help.

WOOD FLOOR FINISHING

As with obtaining the right stain, using the right finish is almost our secret weapon in terms of achieving the excellent results that we do. We offer a number of different products designed to add that magic touch, including oil, wax and a number of different varnishes (all of which are eco-friendly and non-toxic). If you’re uncertain as to which finish is the right one to go for, then don’t worry: that’s one of the things that our expert managers will discuss with you during your free, no-obligation consultation.

WOOD FLOOR STAINING

Another reason that our customers keep coming back is the visual effect we’re able to achieve. (Don’t get us wrong: functionality is important. However, we do make floors look gorgeous!) Staining is one of our favourite techniques in achieving the aesthetics we’re renowned for. It allows us to give even blandest timber an air of depth and quality that is virtually unrivalled. We offer a range of different staining services to suit practically every floor.

PARQUET FLOOR SANDING

There are few more luxurious designs in the world than a parquet floor. The complexity of the patterns can be a real centrepiece in virtually any space. However, it’s worth highlighting the fact that if it’s complex to create, it’ll be complex to repair! That’s why our technical wizards are the ideal people to work with when bringing a parquet floor back to life. Remember, we’re members of both the Guild of Master Craftsmen, as well as the National Wood Floor Association: you can trust us.

WOOD FLOOR POLISHING

It’s no big secret in the flooring world that good polish is still one of the most effective materials in terms of making timber look great. Indeed, we recommend to all our customers that they have a professional polish carried out at least every two years in order to keep their floor in A1 condition. Indeed, we offer a full professional polishing service for anyone that doesn’t have the time to do it themselves.

GAP FILLING: RESIN, SLIVERS AND SILICON

The last thing anyone wants is a gap in their floor, especially when it’s a floor that they’ve just had restored! That’s why we offer a full filling service as part of our overall restoration process. By filling in the gaps before the dust-free sanders get going, we’re able to ensure that no further work is required once the final finish has been added. It’s also worth remembering that less gaps in the floor means lower heating bills, and if anything’s worth investing in, it’s that!

WOOD FLOOR MAINTENANCE

It’s important to ensure that floors are maintained once the restoration work has been carried out. Whilst all services we offer are designed to be long-lasting (remember, our focus is always on the customer’s happiness), there’s no denying that the more maintenance a floor receives, the longer it will last. As well as the free cleaning kit that we provide to all our customers, we are also offer a number of professional maintenance services. Whether you need a new coat of wax to be applied or simply want to buff out the scratches, our technicians are the perfect help.

COMMERCIAL FLOOR SANDING

Commercial floors generally have more footfall than residential ones, and as a result often need more maintenance. However, it can be tricky trying to get the physical work done without interrupting the concentration of the building’s employees. A problem? Not for us: we regularly provide an out-of-hours service so that we can help our commercial customers restore their floors without disturbing anybody.

SCHOOL FLOOR SANDING

As is the case with some of our commercial customers, we always make ourselves available to carry out work in a way that won’t interrupt the rest of the building. With school clients, this typically means that we work during the holidays, but we can also work during the evening or at weekends. Whatever hours your school keeps, we can work around you.

FINISHES AND SEALS

There are few things as important as that final touch. We offer a large range of finishes and seals designed to provide that final shine to the floor. As noted above, all of our finishes are eco-friendly and non-toxic, so you can be sure that you’re taking the green approach.
